September 5, 201312 yr Hello, I just wanted to know if this is real world behaviour since I could not find the reference in the documentation? Thanks in advance Freddy FREDERIK STEINER
September 5, 201312 yr Yes it's correct. If you use CRZ as the N1 limit during cruise flight then you won't see a difference - however most airlines use CLB N1 limit during cruise phase of flight. Can easily set CLB at TOD in the FMC. - Luke Pabari
September 5, 201312 yr Author Sorry, I guess I didn't make myself clear. What I meant was when you have selected CLB as your cruise mode via the aircraft configuration menu (as an Airline Option e.g. Emirates uses it). Meaning the aircraft does not go into CRZ mode once you reach your cruising alt. Under these circumstances is it normal that CLB reverts to CRZ once you reach T/D? Freddy FREDERIK STEINER
