November 15, 200421 yr I have an aircraft (jet to be exact) that is a little too sensitive when hitting turbulence. Does anyone know the setting in the aircraft.cfg file and/or '.air' file that I can adjust that would make the aircraft more stable in turbulence??? As things are now, moderate turbulence almost causes my jet to flip upside down... :-hmmm FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
November 15, 200421 yr Not sure if it's the right thing to do but try increasing one or more of the following in the flight tuning section of the cfg. pitch_stability =1.000roll_stability =1.000yaw_stability =1.000You can always put it back how it was if it makes things worse. It is also possible that the MOI values are too low, however I mostly see them either about right or more usually too high. I'm not sure if inputting new values here will override the airfile though, it might be necessary to go into the airfile as well for that to have any effect. Any changes will alter the plane's response to controls too.
