Just one question regarding reinstall on a new machine.

Featured Replies

Hello gentlemen

With the release of the PMDG 777 I'm changing my PC, and then I came up with a question:

How do I reinstall the Opus on another machine? Do I a fresh installation? Or I delete it on the original machine, and then I copy the remain folder to the new machine and then I do the installation?

I thank you for your help. By the way, great addon!! Gave another life to the skies on my FSX.

Best regards

You can copy your licence and key files onto drive C in the C:\Opus Software folder then download and run the Flight1 purchase wrapper and choose the option to reinstall using the key file. If you purchased via credit card use the last four digits of the credit card as your password, otherwise use your customer password (you can request your password from Flight1 if you have forgotten it or it doesn't work).

If you have lost your licence and key files then download and run the Flight1 purchase wrapper and choose the option to reinstall using your Flight1 account, you will need your email and account password (you can request your password from Flight1 if you have forgotten it or it doesn't work),
If you don't have a Flight1 account then you can create one and assign previous purchases to your account.

If you still can't reinstall then request a new key file from Flight1.

You may install the software onto any drive and subfolder provided its folder name is OpusFSX with the exception that you must not install OpusFSX in the Opus Software, FSX or Program Files folders, and don't install in more than one folder on your PC.
