September 7, 201312 yr Author I think the answer to this is as Rob and Dan described above. This gets saved with the panel state, and from what you posted, it seems like you were loading the PMDG short turn panel state, which had 18K set as the TA when saved. The reason it worked for me, is because I didn't load a panel state, I was doing it straight from the default engines running. This seems to be proper behavior going off what the intro manual states, but it's possible I've completely misunderstood things. Page 72: Okay, I think i have missunderstood this.
