APU GENERATOR LIGHTS WILL NOT ILLUMINATE EVEN AFTER APU IS STARTED

Recommended Posts

HELLO, Is anyone else having this problem? I've been trying to start my pmdg 737-800 for 3 days now. I start the apu and wait for the gen lights to come on but they never do. I click up and down on the switches but I get no response. I think this is also the reason why I cannot start my engines. I have read everything I the manuals and still no luck? I cant understand what the issue is. Im beginning to think I have a bad copy or something. can anyone help me or help put me in the right direction? thank you!

HAve you followed the tutorials that come with the NGX?  They are really informative especially for those who don't know much about the PMDG 737 NGX.  It guides you through start up, flight planning, take off and landing etc.  If you are a newcomer to the PMDG 737 it is the best way to find out about the aircraft and it's features.

Battery on? The APU switch is three position; off, on, start. You have to switch to start and hold a bit. It takes a bit for it to power up reach stability. Does the APU egt gauge show it powering up? Once the APU gen light comes up flip the gen switch. Configure bleeds correctly and have gas in the tanks with fuel pumps on the engines should start up. If your APU isn't starting up with the the aircraft powered yeah something is wrong.
