NGX files change after 777 and PMDG OPC install ?

Hi,

 

Been a while flying the NGX after the release of the PMDG777-200LR/F and i noticed my driver for the MCP from CPflight keeps crashing during startup and my CDUII from VRInsight has forgotten the FMC overall size layout and will not save a new Size/location. So has the upgrade changed permission read/write to files or is it just a simple reinstall of these softwares ?
