What`s Up With FSD???

Featured Replies

HelloI was wondering what`s the deal with the folks at FSD???It seems to me that the only time any of them post is to condemn piracy and to protect their little piece of the niche marketI never see them lift a finger to help the community in any way, shape or form except to scream THEFT!!!!What exactly happened to this group that makes them so cynical???Just CuriousTroy

Before this is locked...that ain't nuthin' new with some of them.

"I never see them lift a finger to help the community in any way, shape or form except to scream THEFT!!!!"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe some of their members have contributed freeware (even after organizing as a payware firm) to our community that is second to none. And having been recently victim of a break-in my self, all I can say is being cynical is the LEAST of the emotions you feel when people too dang lazy to get a job go out and steal the things you own.'nuff said--and I think this thread should be locked..-John

HelloI`m not trying to start trouble but was wondering exactly what happened to make them so defensive???Looking back on the posts I have not really seen anything but negitiveity from them and wasv just wondering why.Was there a particular reason??I`m very sorry if I brought up something that might cause this question to get locked.Troy

Ron Thank you for the FYI on their freeware.Could I trouble you for a file name or a hint of where I can get it for FS 9.1???Thank You Troy

Hi John, Hi Ron,Excellent reply's, both of you. On an interesting note, and I hope he doesn't want to 'smack' me after I mention this, (I'm too old and he has too much respect, ) I was talk ing with Owen the other day and he showed me a few screenies of the 17 . . . and he has been makeing great progress on the aircraft. Now here is a freeware aircraft, which when done will fall right in with some of the middle of the line 'payware' if not better, aircraft, and it won't cost a dime. Owen is a gentleman who only wants to hear 'thanks, job well done' and then to have you enjoy his offering. Owen is also a gifted member of FSD.Nuff said, honored to stand in your ranks!Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. Dopke (Clay)Major, USAF (retired)"Drac"

Hi John"And having been recently victim of a break-in my self, all I can say is being cynical is the LEAST of the emotions you feel when people too dang lazy to get a job go out and steal the things you own"The whole reason that I asked about FSD was thier replies to the PSS theft issue and went looking for posts from other repliees.i kind of feel sorry for the person that has been accused of being a pirate as he too may have been a victim to unscrupulus persons as you yourself have been.I just hope it all gets sorted and he gets his stuff back .Thank YouTroy

Hello again,I wanted to add one more point to this argument, which applies to the original thread.I'm in the horse business now, I raise quality registered Quarter Horses, and in Lauderdale, Mississippi, where I now live, stealing horses is STILL a hanging offense. That's like hanging as in DEAD!So, someone steals one of my well-loved nags, and not only will I publish his e mails address, I will also publish his present address, which is where he is now buried! It's about time, in this day and age that we stop pampering, liars, thieves, crooks, terrorists, child molesters and the like and give them what they deserve. I believe in due process, but I also believe that PSS probably had the goods on this guy long ago and finally said, "enough is enough!" I'll stand with them anyday!BestClayton T. Okay, seems "both" sides have been presented, now being locked.
