Excuse my incorrect terminology, if it pops up, but I am just wondering if the 777 has a click-spot on the autopilot panel like in the 747 and 737 that allows you to use the take-off thrust function where the computer advances the throttles?

Yes. The little screw that is a hidden TOGA is there. Has been since the 737NG for FS2002.
