September 16, 201312 yr EDIT: sorry guys and girls, seems I cant change the title of my post anymore. Should be Cant Move 777! Hi All,I am having my first problem with the 777.I cant move the aircraft because the nose wheel has sunken into the ground. The main gears are fine.I am trying to upload a picture but dont know how yet. When I click on image on the interface I am typing in right now it asks for URL??There is also a field with Attach File, but stillno luck with that either. September 16, 201312 yr Author dont know yet. This is at Fly Tampa Vienna. First flight from there, have not had the problem anywhere else, but have not been at many places either. The only thing different about this flight (beside it being in Vienna) is that its the first 777 flight with my PC overclocked. I had all back to basic before just to be on the safe side during install etc. Rob Robson
September 16, 201312 yr Sinking into the ground seems to be an AFCAD problem. Try some other gates or even a different aiport. I can be wrong but OC your CPU can't be related. Also, how did you start up FS and the 777? Best regards, Stefan van Hierden
September 16, 201312 yr Author Sinking into the ground seems to be an AFCAD problem. Try some other gates or even a different aiport. I can be wrong but OC your CPU can't be related. Also, how did you start up FS and the 777? I started up just normal, by clicken on the FSX shortcut on the desktop. In the FSX interface I choose the PMDG777, Vienna, and the weather and time. It loaded with aircraft nose wheen sunken in the ground. I went to the FSX menu and changed position to another gate. Then all was fine. Then did my preflight setup and programmed the FMC. After that I saved the flight and closed FSX (for dinner, bog mistake lol) Started FSX again, choose load flight and ended up with the sunken nose wheel again :-( Rob Robson
September 17, 201312 yr Author For those interested, I have not been able to reproduce this failure on the last 5 flight. Even my (newly) saved flight now works fine (I deleted the old one that had the problem) Dont know what it was. Rob Robson
September 17, 201312 yr Good te hear. FSX has problems to load the PMDG 777 over itself. So if you load the T7 on the gate and then load a saved flight that could result in problems. If you want to load a saved flight just load a flight with a default FSX plane and then load the flight you want. Happy flying. Best regards, Stefan van Hierden
