Frequent PRSOV failure

Featured Replies

I have service based failures active and on my two of my last three flights I have had a failure of the PRSOV or HPSOV valves.  Is it normal to have these valves fail so frequently?

A friend of mine had the exact same problem - he had the PRSOV fail on 3 consecutive flights.

Out of interest, did you use the same situation each time? We suspect this is the cause of seeing the same/similar failures every flight.

I have repetition of failures too (but different failures). So far, 2 out of 4 flights, RIGHT CDU FAIL. I use the same FS scenario to start a flight (though to clarify, I save over the top of it when I get to another destination, but it is a continuation of the last save, so I load 777.flt to begin, and save 777.flt before I exit).

Best regards,

Robin.

I know one of the flights I loaded from a saved flight, but the other failure occurred on a flight that I set up fro scratch (selected aircraft and airport in the FSX free flight menu, and the default panel state (I have it set to "long turn")
