September 22, 201312 yr Hello,is there any possibility to leave the ShowLensFlare=TRUE entry as it is or could we have an option to enable the entry when I edit the camera position? regards Patrick
September 22, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi We can't change that effect. We don't have any control over the aircraft config files and only actually modify the files for windowed views, and in that case the files have to be manually reloaded into FSX by loading a different aircraft. You can edit the files yourself to add the effect unless there is another way to toggle the effect in FSX.Cheryl
September 22, 201312 yr Author Ok, is there any small chance that we can add this line (as an option) in a selected camera position when we edit the cameras in Opus? regards Patrick
September 23, 201312 yr Commercial Member Editing VC and 2D cockpit views does not adjust or rely on adjusting the aircraft.cfg or any other cfg file. The External Aircraft views do make use of the Opus Custom External view appended to the aircraft.cfg file but this does not define the camera's eye point which is adjusted via SimConnect, it just the defines the custom External view for selection view. You can alter the Cameras cfg files yourself manually. If you need the Opus Custom External View changing then we could do that I suppose but any change will affect all users systems. Stephen Of course, FSX only reads in the cfg files when it runs, not live in game so to speak.
September 23, 201312 yr Author So if you have nothing to do with the camera entrys in any cfg file than I thing it could be possible that another programm has manipulated the cameras definition... Thanks anyway! regards Patrick
September 23, 201312 yr Commercial Member We only add a camera definition to the aircraft.cfg files to define the OpusFSX Custom External View for selection, and of course if you create any Windowed View types, these have also to be appended to the relevant aircraft.cfg files. That's all we do in Live Camera. You're welcome Stephen
