When I start FSX and go to the free flight page, it shows all of my variations but the description below the thumb nails is one picture off. Is there any way to realign the thumb nails with the descriptions?

I remember this happening once when by mistake in one of my aircraft.cfg files, there were two consecutive (successive) liveries numbered with the same [flightsim.xxx] number. From that point onward, what you describe was happening.

 

Go to the relevant aircraft.cfg and search for the livery where this disrepancy starts from. Fix it (and all the following numbers) and you should be OK.
