Some NAT Lat/Lon waypoints not showing on rte page

Featured Replies

Greetings all,

The other day I did a flight from EGLL-KBOS. The filed route (per PFPX) was CPT3G CPT UL9 GAVGO UL18 DIKAS UL9 SLANY GISTI MALOT 5330N 5240N 5050N YQX, etc....

When I loaded the flight plan into the FMC, the route page showed the following:  DCT   CPT

                                                                                                                                  UL9    GAVGO

                                                                                                                                  UL18   DIKAS

                                                                                                                                  UL9     SLANY

                                                                                                                                   DCT   YQX

I added the route thru the FMC's "route request" function, since it had already been built thru PFPX.

Note that the lat/lon waypoints between SLANY and YQX aren't appearing there. They do, however, appear on the LEGS page. Is this correct?  Why do only some of the filed waypoints appear on the RTE page? The plane flew the filed route perfectly, but I was wondering about this anomaly.

Many thanks,

Ron

I'm noticing this only on PFPX build flightplans. The whole NAT section doesn't come up in RTE, but is there in LEGS. Hasn't bothered me much, I'm assuming it chunks it all together as "a NAT".
