Ground nite light textures ??

Featured Replies

HelloI want to replace my ground nitelighting and was wondering what people`s opinion were as the best textures to use.Perhaps you could give me the name of the zip file or link to what you think might be the best textures to use.Thank YouTroy

Hi there. Imho a program called FS2004 Night Time by Carmine D'Amore is fantastic. It is here in the library and well worth checking out.

As far as ground night textures are concerned I am using Chris Arrington's textures. He has two versions, one stronger the other (most recent) more subdued. I like the first one. You can easily find them in Avsim library if you serach for author's name. Please note this is highly personal choice so try different ones. You can also try a set by Chris Willis - again, all in Avsim library. Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2

HelloThanks for the replies and have found them all.Now the hard part is to decide which to use as they all look great.I would also like to thank all the authors for putting in the effort to continue to make the sim better.Troy

I would also like to thank all the authors for putting in the effort to continue to make the sim better.I second that. the amount of work that must go into these projects is extraordinary. I have just been downloading some of Tom Gibsons AI files and scenery for 1950's California and it creates a whole new sim!!
