Can someone please help me with the time acceleration on the PMDG 777?

I have it set at x8 in the centre CDU but it hasn't changed the rate.

 

I am new to the PMDG so apologies if I am being stupid.

Besides selecting 8x....you also have to turn it on.

On the FMC Auto Cruise page select On, or toggle it On/Off with a right click on the CHR button on the clock.
