Question about FSX startup?

Recommended Posts

I'd like to ask all of you a question:  Do you find that it's necessary to start FSX with one of the Default Aircraft for proper running of FSX?  Or....could I, let's say, use the new Real Air Duke as my startup plane?ew Real Air Duke as my startup plane?  If I do, will the proper files load from the FSX program?  I've heard several theories on this, but I'm still not sure.  What do some of you technical flyers think about this question?

I've just today read about some very strange things happening with the AAX as the standard plane over at Aerosoft's. I'd guess that any plane will work as long as the plane does not have any advanced external modules (external FDE, detailed systems, only standard AP etc), but there are other who suggest that any flight should be started using a default plane and to switch planes only then for all additional features to be corretcly loaded.
