I just setup a new Headset/Mic combo for online and other voice controlled software and decided to try it out in FSX, it worked great and was awesome controlling the views and several keys by voice.

Cool, I do the same. Which applications do you use for the voice set up, WSR?

 

I have created a GlovePIE script to do my voice interface. This allows me to have a PTT button for the voice controls so that it does not inadvertently change the view if I happen to say "first officer" for some reason, I have to press the button first. I can also use this for any other voice commands I want to add, such as TOGA in the NGX.

It was Win7 default speech recognition app that controlled fsx.
