October 9, 201312 yr Commercial Member I'm looking at page 11.42.35 (PDF Page1039) of the FCOMv2. "Pushing the line select key for one of the BRG/DIS entries copies the fix place/bearing/distance definition into the scratchpad" However I can't actually make that happen. Nothing gets copied to the scratchpad. Any ideas? I see a reference to the fix page on the bug tracker but I dont think this is the same thing. Noah Bryant
October 9, 201312 yr you can only line select the BRG/DIS that you entered on the LEFT side of the fix page, not the right side. Bryan Richards "People depend so much on automation that they forget how to get the automation to work." B.W.
October 10, 201312 yr If it's a genuine bug, and it sounds like it might be, raise a support ticket detailing the problem and a reference to a page in the manual. It'll get fixed. Jordan Forrest

You have to first enter a Bearing/Radiall or a DME distance, on for instance LSK 1LThe FMC then draws a line or circle. IF this line or circle intersects your route of flight anywhere, THEN you can downselect the coordinates of this point in the scratchpad. Oh and bearing+dme distance can not be downselected from the FIX page because it is already a point. You can enter that directly in the legs page. Like JFK090/5.....that is a point (not a line or circle). Rob Robson
