Tried most of the contacts listed in the downloads (both pay and freeware) to no avail.......

 

Any idea what happened to the forums etc for this????!!!

Just an update - found the answer to mine own query;

 

Sad to say the gent behind the scene passed away last year.

Yes, unfortunately Igor Suprunov is no longer with us.  Funny you posted this, I just found my hard-copy of the Yak manual.  I helped Igor with some translations for it, it is one of the best manuals ever to come out with an aircraft.

 

I still fire up FS9 once and a while to fly that beauty.
