Problems with FS2004 real world weather?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble downloading the FS2004 real world weather today? Thanks.

Well I tried to download it again and it still will not download for me. Does anyone know how I can fix it? I think I may be the only one with this problem.

No problem at the time of this response.

The messege I get when trying to download the weather is "A error has occured while downloading real world weather. Check your internet connection and configuration and try agaian"I hate flying without the real world weather :-8

If you like real weather you should seriously consider getting ActiveSky 2004.5.

Check whether your browser is in "offline" mode. For example, if Internet Explorer has "Work Offline" checked, then you won't be able to download real weather. This has caught me before.

I checked if internet explorer had "work off line" checked and it didn't. :-( I tried turning off my firewall and downloading real world weather, but that didn't work.I don't understand this :-mad I just used the real world weather (like I do everytime I fly) last night and everything was fine.

Is there anything on the FS9 disks that has to do with the download of weather? Maybe I have a corrupt file or something and I could just replace it with one from the disks. I don't want to reinstall FS9!

I had this problem this morning as well. I also had a problem with FSMeteo which froze when trying to download winds. I just concluded that it was a problem with the servers and didn't bother.Just got in after work, and its working.

By the responces I was getting it sounded like I was the only one with this problem and maybe something was wrong with my computer or FS9. Maybe and I hope it your right and it is just the servers.Maybe its just a regional thing? I am in New York and at 11:15pm it is still not working. Hopfully it will be working tomorrow.
