December 3, 200421 yr Has anyone had problems with FScamera since adding WinXP SP2? I had all working before & then last Friday I installed SP2. All of a sudden, FScamera would not work. No lockups just not working. When I remove 1.4 & re-install 1.3 it is back to working. Any ideas?Pat Callaghan Pat Callaghan Jr. Ryzen 9-9900x Asus Tuf Gaming 870x 64gig DDR5 ram, RTX 4070 Super Win 11 Pro
December 5, 200421 yr I have Winxp, never had anything but, along with SP2 and fscamera 1.4. No probs. You said you reinstalled fscamera 1.3. Did you try deleting the 1.4 exe file in your FS9 root directory and then reinstalling fscamera 1.4? The install routine is a lot different for 1.4. If I remember correctly, for 1.3 you just unzipped the files to a temp directory and then moved the 1.3 exe to your FS9 root directory. But 1.4 has an actual install.
December 5, 200421 yr I will go though the install & unistall routines again. I am not sure if I did it right. Thanks. Pat Callaghan Jr. Ryzen 9-9900x Asus Tuf Gaming 870x 64gig DDR5 ram, RTX 4070 Super Win 11 Pro
December 5, 200421 yr I completely unistalled all versions. I did a search through the computer that nothing was left. Then re-installed 1.4 but it does not work. The FDSCONNECTION.OUT file says everything is fine. Pat Callaghan Jr. Ryzen 9-9900x Asus Tuf Gaming 870x 64gig DDR5 ram, RTX 4070 Super Win 11 Pro
December 5, 200421 yr What do you mean fdsconnection.out says everything is fine? I don't have a file with that name. Unless I'm misunderstanding you. The only file I have that has the name fdsconnection is a dll file that when you install fscamera it goes into your FS9 modules folder. Did that file get renamed by any chance? Do you have an fdsconnection.dll file in your FS9 modules folder?
December 5, 200421 yr I do have a FDSCONNECTION.DLL file in my modules folder. When I start fscamera it creates a FDSCONNECTION.OUT file in the modules folder.Pat Pat Callaghan Jr. Ryzen 9-9900x Asus Tuf Gaming 870x 64gig DDR5 ram, RTX 4070 Super Win 11 Pro
December 5, 200421 yr Ahhhh, you're right. The only time I had trouble was when I'd go into fly-by view it would just stick me in tower view, but a complete reinstall did the trick. Did you delete the fscamera.ini file in the FS9 root folder, and then re-install? Other than that I can't think of why it's not working for you. Sorry I can't help you further.
