Was going to get a Haswell upgrade bujt my OS drive is a OCZ Vertex 2 Sandforce and I read below that there are known issues with this with respect with the MOBO not seeing the drive...OCZ says they have no plans to address this.

Anyone have any first hand experience wit this?

 

I cant afford to upgrade the SSD and dont wanna give it as the  OS drive so I guess I am forced into an IvyBridge upgrade...?

I have also this problem. I have the Ozc and a intel z87.

The issue is not the CPU but your intel chipset z77 or z87.

They don't work with older ssd

I have buy the Samsung 840 pro and it works great.

Intel haven to upgrade drivers for the older ssd.
