This is the sequence:Select an airport in FS9 main screen.Press OKFS9 will start loading the scenery but the progress bar will stop at 9% or 10% at the loading terrain stage. Taskbar Manager shows FS9 using a certain amount of memory but the processor activity is ZERO. Only way to get out of this is to kill the program.Sometimes after rebooting the PC and restarting FS9 loading the airportwill work OK. Also if I load the default airport KSEA and then go to the desired airport from within FS9 it will load OK. I have checked the scenery config for duplicates or gaps in the numericalscenery sequence using Scenery Configurator and Align.exe. Everythingelse works just fine with good frame rates. This problem has only startedafter installing the Patch and adding the latest NoCD patch which apparentlyis meant to be compatible with the patch.Any advice very welcome.

I have had exactly the same problems - nothing to do with NOCD.exe as I do not use this.Have a feeling it could be something to do with either AS2004, FSHOTSFX (unlikely) or possibly changes made to the TERRAIN_ settings in the FS9.CFG - but have not worked out which - will be interested to see if anyone has any ideas.Also tends to happen only in areas where I have both LANDCLASS and MESH addons

RobschoWell you hit the right spot. Same here, problem always where there is Mesh and/or landclass. I did an extensive search of FS9 installation for landclass files and they all now reside in one directory with notexture folder within Addon Scenery . Problem still there. AS unlikelysince I never start the program until FS9 up and running.My guess is that the MS patch changed something in FS9 whichpossibly makes it more sensitive to some mesh files. I get thisproblem a lot within UK scenery even though I only FSGenesisMesh installed.I'm sure there must be quite a few people with similar problems.Thanks for letting me know, kind of a relief knowing someone elseis having same problems, I was becoming obsessive about it..

Try changing the max_vertice_level to 21 in your fs9.cfg if you haven't done so already--see if the mesh "prefers" that setting.-John
