I need your help on this one! I decided to buy a new Laptop (I know what you thinking,...a PC is a lot better, but unfortunately it most be a Laptop!) and I need your feedback and experience on How well it will perform? and if there is something I should be worry or aware about!?

 

The specs are:

 

Asus ROG G750JX

17,3" Full HD skærm
Intel Core i7-4700HQ 2.4 - 3.4 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M / Intel HD Graphics 4600 - 3 GB GDDR5 SDRAM
8 GB RAM
256 GB SSD - Serial ATA-600

750 GB 7200RPM harddisk
DVD-RW

You´ll be fine with that G750JX, but get a good cooler to place it on.

 

BTW I´m considering that one myself, where do you buy it, and what´s the price?

That one is a strong dude, My satellite works perfectly well with FSX and the new 331 Nvidia drivers are awesome.

 

Yes you need to keep that thing cool. But for me no cooler has worked.

I bought it yesterday and I'm still in the process of re-installing it (I don't like all the crap that comes with a new Laptop!). I must say, I have never had such a fast Laptop before and I look forward installing the FSX on it

 

It's got 2 vents, which should help a lot with the cooling, but I will know for sure after some few test runs. 

 

I don't know where you're guys from, but I'm from Denmark and I got it for 11.4444- kr. which is 2.000- $.

 

I have never installed FSX on such a new Hardware, Is there anything I should do/tweak after the installation Or is it all good, no extra tweaks needed?

You will need to tweak it.

Can you give me a link to tweak file or a site with a Step by Step guide? I was never that good in tweaking

Hi!

How did it go with this computer? I'm also looking at it and I'm interrested in how you are doing with it. Also, does anyone know if it would be enough of a computer to fly X-plane 10 (medium settings maybe) with an add-on like the CRJ-200?
