texture/afcad problem

Featured Replies

hi,i tried a couple of days ago, i'll see if anyone has any ideas.i have an unusual problem with ohare. i'm sure the cause is me messing about with afcad or scenery. i cant remember everything i've done, but the jist is that i'd like to find a way to restore kord to its default state, so i can start over. however even when i get rid of everything i've added, i end up with weird textureless, innacurate tarmac plastered over the airport. - see attached imageany ideas?

Assuming you were playing around with afcad, and left everything default, your afcad2 file should be located under the main fs9 directory at:addon scenerysceneryThe file is most likely called af2_kord.bgl. If you find that file, simply move it out of that directory (or delete it).

i've tried that,i have a feeling something i did must have changed the default scenery. do you know how i can reinstall that?

thanks, any idea how to get rid of the problem?

Afcad does not edit the default scenery, it adds things on top of it (like you are seeing). Just remove your custom afcad file like I mentioned above, and your airport should go back to normal (unless you did some other things like excludes)

thanks guys, the problem was that i had a redundant afcad in the folder that was not called kord not sure which it was yet, but that was the problem. thanks for insisting the addon scenery was the problem, i'd long given up on it, given that i'd deleted the kord file.
