I don't think there is but...

I have never heard of a way to do this but - with FS technology evolving everyday I thought I would ask. Is there anyway to go for a ride with any of the AI vehicles? I ask because I just set up a cruise ship in Seattle that goes from Seattle harbor to the open Pacific, the route it takes is pretty scenic and I would like to to just sit back on the virtual deck and enjoy the scenery. Any ideas??? Thnx

Hi there, well, as with any AI you can place yourself into spot view and then adjust your position with the various movement and zoom keys. To "reach" the ship you can either cycle through all active AI with Ctrl-W or, for better control, download the "Traffic Map" module in the Traffic Toolbox SDK - http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...sdk.asp#traffic - which allows you to jump into the spot view of any AI with the double-click on the list.Enjoy the ride.Cheers, HolgerP.S.: the only limitation with either approach is that you will get transported back to your own aircraft when the AI leaves the radius of active AI. Thus, for longer journeys you should put your own aircraft into slew modus and once in a while move into the direction of the ship (again, that's easier with the SDK Traffic Map.
