November 27, 201312 yr I have selected "Options>Settings>General>System Time" in the FS9 options, but when FS9 starts up, it is still persisting in starting up with "Flight Time" (Time setting for the flight when it was saved which I can set to any time so desired). I have tried with the fs9 "Other>default flight" Same thing.. I have tried deleting my fs9.cfg file and letting fs9 rebuild it, same thing. Introductory Flight: Same thing. Yes, my system is displaying the correct current time. I am overlooking a line item for this selection in my fs9.cfg file if editing there is needed. There is no such problem with FSX. I can choose either "flight time" or "system time" and everything works as it should work. Any ideas? Respectfully: RTH
November 27, 201312 yr Any ideas? What operating system are you using (W7 - UAC and Permissions)? Also, do you have any problems with FS9 saving other settings? Perhaps a conflict with a setting in the FSUIPC module? Regards, Mel
November 27, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the reply Mel: Dumb mistake! I was choosing "select a flight" for my startup rather than "create a flight". Thanks again: RTH
