November 29, 201312 yr I Wonder if it is useful to set affinitymask with DX10 Scenery fixer? Under DX 9 i am sur it was but Under dx10 i am not really sure! What do you think about? Jérôme Dietsch
November 29, 201312 yr A couple of weeks back I re-visited some old load testing, and found that without the AM, the frames bounced between 27 and 31, but as soon as I re-enabled the AM, (setting 14, HT off) - the drop was now between 28.5 and 31, so I will say - yes, it does make a small difference. In the last week I've re-enabled HT, setting the mask to 244, and it, too seems to add to the smoothness, but I did no empirical testing. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
November 29, 201312 yr Author Ok Paul thanks for you answer! With i7 2600K HT On i use 84 and 14 if HT Off, I will test a little more but actually i don't see lot of difference especially if i use Bufferpools= 0. Jérôme Dietsch

I think you haven't done enough load testing, Mr. Jedi! The right choice for BufferPools will make a difference. AM not so much, but with a tweaked-to-the-max system - it is noticeable. pj i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
