December 20, 200421 yr I'm recently getting frequent Crashes-To-Desktop in FS9, at specific start-up locations, and I keep seeing this file listed in the detail log of the error message. I suspect it has become corrupt somehow, and I'd like to replace it with a virgin one I manged to locate on CD#2 thanks to Brian Collins' wonderfully useful FS9 File Location Spreadsheet. What is it, and can I replace it readily without sacrificing stored flights and/or flightplans? Can someone educate me? http://www.2decker.com/media/solent1-2.JPAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.

December 20, 200421 yr It is more likely that you have an AFCAD file or some other scenery addition conflict. Disable or temporarily remove any that you may have added recently and see if the problem goes away. Error dialogues such as you quote are very often generic; i.e., they name the problem area but fail to necessarily diagnose the source. In other words, there isn't necessarily anything wrong with the Facilities.dll at all.
