GTX 780 GPU runs at 640MHz in FSK

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have googled, but have not found any comments on a situation like mine.  When running FSX, my GPU speed is pegged at 640Mhz and my memory speed is at 810MHz.  The base clock for my GTX780 classified is 993MHz for GPU and 3004MHz for memory.  Even when I overclock, the speed stays as is and does not increase.

Now, when I run MSI Kombustor, it runs at the top speed, with boost.  I have not tried running Kombustor when overclocked. Also, when I run 3DMark11 I get decent scores, right where others with my CPU and GPU score.

Is this typical?  I'm wondering if my GPU usage is too low to drive up the clock speed (it seems to stay in the 10-30% range most of the time).  My temps are in the low 30's, so don't think that is an issue.  Latest NVidia driver.

Thanks,

Don

:good:  Thanks, that was it!  I had it set in inspector, but when I updated drivers it wiped it out and I forgot to reset....mystery solved.
