Can you explain me how to use the weather radar with tilt or gain?

Hello guys :)

 

 

I was this morning in final approach to phuket on heavy rain (no winds) and im not able to adjust my weather radar well.This just show me a little area in green but i was expecting yellow or red area with this weather.

 

Show my vidéo @ 00:27 and you will see the weather radar isn't configuring correctly.

What difference between tilt and gain? and how i can adjust that?
