In this attachment the W45 airway was identified by opus but it's not a waypoint, in addition the X and H airways across China can not been distinguished by Opus

At the moment all airways must have an entry and exit point specified in the flight plan so you must edit the plan and declare the points.

Your plan needs an intersect point to declare the exit point for one airway and the entry point for the next airway. I will be seeing if I can auto select the intersect point in future.

I will check to see if W45 is included in my default Nav data. Have you checked your Navigraph data to see if is included in the airways list and whether BBD and GGT are listed as navigation points within the airway.

OpusFSX will find and recognise airways but they must be listed within the navdata.

 

Its not a case of Opus not being able to distinguish airways its more a case of using an airway that is defined in the navdata.

That appears to be the same. I have highlighted the relevant Airway and airway navigation points in bold in your last post.

 

You are only interested in the 26-ish degree, 80-ish degree (lat/lon) part of the globe.

If ever you have an update to your Navigraph data you should also use the Reload button to decode and reload the new data.

Another option of course, if you know an airway exists but is not defined or not defined well enough in your AIRAC data then you can edit the ATC.txt file and specify the airway yourself. Then use the Reload option to load the new airways data. Just an idea, but the above route suggestion should be fine. Stephen :-)
