Any freeware program that will readback a checklist with voice?

Featured Replies

Is there any freeware program that will readback a checklist with voice? Thank you.

I believe the old program S-combo by Dave March will do this. It is the pre-curser to his Flight Deck Companion. Not positive if it works in FS2004 though.

It's been a few months since I saw it, but somewhere on the web there are instructions to (1) Use free software to read a checklist and save the results as a .wav file and (2) Have that .wav file play in your kneeboard.

There is a Freeware Voice Recognition program called:Flight Assistant by Matt Linder.Details are here:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=229401&page=2You say landing Checklist, and it reads backa checklist with delays, if you use the Freeware Profile I created for it.You can get FA here:http://www.linder-network.de/thelindercomp...tassistant.htmlAnd I created a 256 Command Voice Profile here:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...atID=fs2004miscBest used if you have a headset with Mic, or at least a headset. Then you can program a PTT key or a joystick Button.Regards,Joe

CryptoSonar on Twitch & YouTube.

FlightDeck Sound Effects Panel for FS2004 by Marcus Thompson lets you play any wave file by clicking on a set of buttons. It comes with pre-recorded flight crew announcements and you can easily record your own checklists to play back (assuming you have a microphone you can plug into your pc). The file name is fdsfxpnl.zip.Sidney Schwartz KPDX

Thanks to all who replied. I see I have a few choices to try out.

I used S-Combo with 2002 But it doesn't work with 2004!!!!Ron Mashburn
