News Item: HiFi’s new weather simulation engine for FSX has just released, and is now available for purchase. A free 7-day trial is also available!

ASN is being called “the next revolution in weather realism” and brings enhanced realism features made possible by a new hybrid depiction system and ASConnect interface for accurate and dense cloud/weather depiction with fully smooth changes at all times. 360-degree variable cloudscapes, accurate radar simulation, cloud position awareness, cloud-synchronized ambient effects, international SIGMET/AIRMET synthesis, forecast data integration, new mapping overlays, new air effects, enhanced turbulence, microburst simulation, variable in-cloud visibility reduction, advanced wake turbulence, high-resolution terrain-influenced updrafts and downdrafts, ridge lift and thermals are some of the highlights, but many more new features exist.

ASN launches for FSX, and a Prepar3D v2 version is coming soon as well. A single ASN license works for both versions.

For more information about Active Sky Next, and to try it free for 7 days, visit the ASN website at www.activeskynext.com.
