December 14, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi You must open the Configure dialog and check your settings, its telling you that for the sim type you have specified it cannot locate the installation folder. It needs to do this in order to transfer the weather theme file etc.. Stephen :-)
December 14, 201312 yr Author Both folders of OPUS are located in Program Files. FSX is in (X86) Program folder. Does OPUS need to be in (X86) with FSX? I've checked the properties of all the OPUS EXE's , changed them all to Windows 8,then Windows 7, with and without Administrator rights. Still no luck
December 14, 201312 yr Commercial Member Our documentation and downloads page explains that you may install the software onto any drive and subfolder provided its folder name is OpusFSX with the exception that you must not install OpusFSX in the Opus Software, FSX or Program Files folders, and don't install in more than one folder on your PC. The software looks for the licence and key files on drive C in your c:\Opus Software folder. Please read the Getting Started guide, there are a few essential steps to go through to get OpusFSX working correctly, especially if FSX is installed in Program Files. Note for optimum performance we also recommend that FSX is installed on a separate drive if possible and is not installed in Program Files since this causes issues with permissions. Cheryl
