Saitek Yoke odd behaviour

When flying after a while the yoke disconnects and reconnects. Everything is fine but the PTT and hat buttons doesnt work in FSINN and Ezdok. In the Saitek control panel I can see the buttons are activating but the softwares dont seem to recognize it. i have checked my USB power settings and made sure it doesnt turn off.
