The only thing I can add to this product will be an actual weather radar installed in the aircraft. Will that ever possible in this product or future products. I can do without an EFB, but a weather radar would add much realism; especially the fact that I am flying out of SBGL to EGCC

 

 

Currently I fly the T7 with a couple of addon ("4th party") gauges in 2D windows: wx radar, the FS Captain MCDU-like interface and one or two more.

Where you get your weather radar from?

Mine is the rather expensive one by RealityXP (it doesn't know about the locations of cloud sprites and precipation, though).

 

Captain Sim's stand-alone wx radar is cheaper, but I never tested it.

 

 

Pls. note that Active Sky Next's XGauge is currently the only wx gauge that displays correct positions of clouds and precipation. Unfortunately it shows a "wx satellite's view", not the view generated by a wx radar installed in an aircraft.
