January 2, 201412 yr Hello, does anyone else flying the NGX finds problem with "bump aircraft " option after updating to last version ? i tried all kind of DOF setting but still seems like when i try to bank the plane it has a delay in the movement and then when its banking its freezes at the angle. once i switch off the bump aircraft its ok. any ideas ? thank you ! January 2, 201412 yr Commercial Member Have you tried increasing the Delay Factor which can go much higher now. Start off setting DOF 1 with the highest Delay Factor and see if that will work on your system. I always test fly with either the Lancair Legacy (low level) and the PMDG 737NGX (high level) with most test flights at high level with many turns. We have had no problems with either aircraft and still have DOF 3 with Delay 0 set. But if you have to disable Bump Aircraft for that one aircraft then that will have to be done. Do you have any other Addons making demands of your SimConnect interface or FSX via a DLL for instance. Try increasing the Delay factor, that should do it. Stephen
January 2, 201412 yr Author thanks for the super fast response stephen ! the thing is i never had problem with the DOF before...strange. anyway for now i just set it to off. ill try now your advice. thanks again ! January 2, 201412 yr Commercial Member If you had it working before then you should be able to increase the Delay fact and get it working OK on your system again. The Delay factor used to only go up to 4 but the range has been extended. Don't forget to save your camera views after tweaking it, you should be able to do it in flight. Once you find a suitable Delay factor that works you can leave that set and try DOF 2 or even DOF 3. But DOF 1 would be OK if that's what your sim likes. Stephen
January 2, 201412 yr Author Well stephen, after trying DOF 1 and delay 10, i still see problems so i just turned it off for now... to be honest i don't see much different in the effect with it ON or OFF. that's why i am not rushing back to the previous version. January 2, 201412 yr Commercial Member If you fly the 737NGX with auto pilot on then you probably won't notice much if anything anyway because the AP will be compensating. So you're probably best to disable Bump Aircraft. Stephen :-)
