FS9 Flight, and the PSS Concorde from JFK.

Featured Replies

Hi All,:-waveI thought I'd tell you about my unhapy ending to tonights flight. with an unhappy reporting of the flight I just did, I was flying with Mark from JFK to Manchester in the Fantastic Concorde's,:7 we were doing this Real Time on VATSIM, and were just on the second phase of the decent after our deceleration from M2.02 and FL560, tracking direct DUB VOR from SHA VOR, well all was going fantastically . . . :-shybut just then, at the point where I was levelling off at FL280 and 320KTS it happened,:-mad the dreaded Flight Simulator Has Encountered a Problem and has to close,:-erks we are sorry for any inconvenience caused, so I clicked on the View technical report/cause etc for the problem and it came up with this "The following information is part of the event: fs9.exe, 9.1.0.40901, weather.dll, 9.1.0.40901, 00003ad0." which from experience is probably nothing to do with it whatsoever.:-eekbut, what a disappointment it was after all that time,:-fumeI was absolutely furious. I won't begin to tell you how blue the air was in here,:-fumeoh well, I'll just have to do it allover again . . . . I'm sorry to bother you all with this, but I just had to tell someone :-abducthave any of you had similar experiences, did you manage to track down the problem,

Gee, that's frustrating, I know. Had similar problems on several occasions, on more or less critical situations. The worst I remember was some months ago with a PMDG 737 NG on approach to Juneau Intl, Alaska. A really difficult flight from Seattle with heavy turbulences, rain, low visibility and all the good stuff. I was so dammn proud I had made it down to the MDA. And now guess what happened at 500ft or so... :-bangSome curses and shouts later I wondered how to get rid of these annoyances. Shortly before I had upgraded my RAM, so I tried setting lower BIOS timing values (they were quite aggressive). I SUPPOSE (:)Holger.PS Might be a little late, but a happy new year to everyone here!

Steve,I feel your pain but I have a get-out-of-jail card for you. Download and install AutoSave by Pete Dowson from here www.schiratti.com/dowson.html It won't prevent the crashes but it will allow you to reload the flight and continue.Absolutely indispensible addon by Pete.Cheers,
