January 10, 201412 yr Do AFCADS determine if a parked AC is lit with lighting at night? I'm wondering as I've seen several A/C that I swore had night lighting... i.e. window lights and tail lights completely dark when parked at terminal gates and other locations around the various Airports. Aircraft lighting has to deal with that specific paint textures for that aircraft and its' Lightmap. I assume you're referring to AI aircraft? It is most likely because it is an FS9 Lightmap file. While they will work in FSX, they can look odd or non-existent.
