DHM and Helicopters

Featured Replies

Hello

This may have been posted already but I cant find it in the forums

Ive noticed that there is a signifcant delay in response to helicopter controls, more so the yaw axis when DNH is activated.

Ive tried this with several payware helicopters, Milviz, Cera and Nemeth

Once DHM is unticked the response to the control returns to normal

Current version I have is 3.4

I reported this previously and still not having any luck

If Opus is started up when FSX starts up, no other exit  on the plane or helo responds to the key assignment to open or close other than the main exit ie:

If I press shift+e the main door opens and closes no problem, however if i try shift+e+2 is the main door that only responds not the second door or so on

If Opus is not started the all exits repsond to the key assignments,

any idea

First of course upgrade to release 3.41.

Then edit the DHM and adjust the Bump Aircraft DOF and Delay factor settings, this has been discussed in the past and the solution is quite straight forward. First try using a higher Delay factor with DOF 1 until everything is OK, then try DOF 2 or even 3.

If no settings seem to work, even DOF 1 with Delay 10 then you must disable Bump Aircraft for that aircraft type.

The key assignments are all down to your configuration and any assigned keys in the camera views or shortcuts, Opus does not request any key events apart from the ones you have configured to be used with cameras or shortcuts.
