Green Block at runway threshold - St Maarten DX10

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have carefully read, re-read and then installed Steves DX10 Fixer and run the Shader updater. Also set NVI as per instructions on the forum here. Started up FSX and went to St Maarten (Aerosoft) and I see a large green square sitting at the runway threshold. I can fly through it. Shows up both in day and night. Have I missed something or is this a known issue and is there a workaround? A quick Google did not bring up anything.

Thanks!

GregH

Thanks for correcting me Wulf, it is indeed Fly Tampa's scenery. My Bad. It's a popular scenery so I am hoping someone can confirm if this is a known issue and whether there might be a fix?

Also, it is actually a PINK block, not a green block. Was late last night and I was tired (and colour blind). Tried to post a pic but struggled to upload the URL for some reason.

Thanks

Hi Greg, have You already tried the latest full updated FlyTampa St. Maarten Scenery V1.7 for FSX+PRDV2, which is available on the FlyTampa St. Maarten Forum?

V1.7 considers DX10 too and works really fine day&night. This newer version is for free for those customers, who bought the previous version.

Thanks Wulf, I have not but will definitely head over there. Seems there will be quite a few challenges for me to overcome with DX10 though as other sceneries have also produced "issues" I. may be in for a long road to getting DX10 to a point where it can beat my DX9 setup which with selective tweaks is running really well. Almost too well to want to take a big step backwards before moving forward again...
