Modifying panel.cft for surround

Featured Replies

I'm in the process of finalizing Real Air Citabria installation and I'm trying to reduce the GPS side.

Unfortunately, my modification to the panel that were fine in FSX are not working in Prepar3D.

Only the GPS 295 pop-up window if of interest for me for the moment.

Any panel specialist had succeeded in doing so?

Here is the default Real Air Aircraft section for the GPS.

[Window01]
size_mm=150,250
position=6
BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL

gauge00=gps!gps,0,0,150,250

My modification working fine on FSX was.

[Window01]
size_mm=545,354
Window_size=0.166,0.43
position=2
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL

gauge00=fs9gps!gps_295,0,0

Unfortunately, in surround the same lines in p3d result in a elongated gps for a few second then a black screen. I noticed that the modified line use the old FS9 GPS that may not be working in P3d but even if I try keeping the gauge00 line as in the default P3d file, the same black screen problem arises.

Anyone as found similar problem or difference between the FSX and P3D panel.cfg command behavior?
