That could be interesting but limited to one aircraft. Sky4sim already display the atc exchange in vr so no need to exit vr to read what you missed. But still if some aircraft developpers incorporate this in existing aircraft display, way better.

Very nice airport. And right in the pilot edge coverage area. It makes a very good base for local flights.

md11 was still used by KLM on the Montreal Amsterdam route not so long ago. It was at the time one of my favorite sim bird and it was a pity to see it retired.

starter switch innoperative when i click on the VC. I can operate them via Linda. The annunciator for the reverse propeller doesn't lit. no texture problems...

I remember previous discussions where the zoom factor was the main culprit. I use 0.9 on all views and never noticed spinning clouds while a lot of people were able to get them in previous versions....

Thanks to AviationMoser for the hard work bringing this free add-on to our favorite sim. I made a couple of screenshots to show the Lothse (4th highers mountain in the world) and Everest in the same shot taken from sotheast of the mountains. We can see the improvement in details, especially the east ridge of Lothse that is now much closer to the real thing. All the rest of the scenery also benefit from the more detailed mesh. Waiting for installers here. I take this delay as an opportunity to revisit some base airplanes, try product that don't need installers like woai, free mesh, boat trafic and practice IFR approach in cloud with steam gauge (scenery is irrelevant for those scenarios). Had installed rhe base stuff I need including FSUIPC, Spad (still used for long press of buttons on Saitek radio panel), Linda (all other buttons, switches and special Lua routines) then EZCA. FTX Global is fine and A2A Cherookee. More than I need to have fun. Always have a list of things I want to test or install but generally not enough time free. So that's a perfect opportunity to work on my setup at the beginning of the sim season (real Cherookee will be winterized soon.....expecting first snow today here in Canada).

i have frequently problem but a bit different. In IFR, when i'm asked to change frequency for another controller, i get a "contact radio" on xxx.x message like if i was restarting a VFR flight. I'm not 100% sure but I think it happens when I execute the frequency change very rapidly and Vox cannot cope with it. Sometimes just returning to the previous frequency a few second then back on the new one solve the. issue but its not consistent. I can still call and interract with the controler but the prompt will not change until the end of the flight or restart of Vox.

I used fsuipc virtual button with spad to assign special LUA routines to buttons. For instance, in the Duke T, i have the deice button that set all anti icing devices of the aircraft. I also used the magneto selector to do the automatic sequence for motors start up in several steps. But axis is definitively the most useful feature. I used a 20 cents metal hinge to delimitate two range for my ch yoke power lever. I can control easily how to go in the reverse range with one lever without accidentally going into the reverse.

I Flew to Kai Tak several times in late eighties and early nineties. Very scenic approach with the impression in the turn that the wing is close to the building tops. But i would not say "terrifying". I walked down one afternoon the Kowloon district under the approach and Wow, i just loved the feeling of having a plane flying low over buildings every few minutes....

Why not just click right on the window and tick the "lock" selection. My atc is always in top on Prepar3d and it takes a few seconds to arrange them. I have a 3 screens surround display and i pit vox on a side in the smallest window still readable.

I know that. And i know many other that fly IFR with single engine. It all depend your level of comfort, cloud base and type of terrain below. If cloud base is 4000 over ground, I don't feel out of option being in the layer. But i will avoid mountainous terrain with low cloud in IFR.

Well, you got an instinctor on board so you can avoid the toasted scenario. My worst nightmare would be an engine out over a mountain range while IFR in a layer cloud. So your gliding but its would be quite uncomfortable.

There a white list of software that use this technique. That seems to be one of the drawback of this new method. It was announced as universal initially then released with a limited list of titles which was a deception for several analysts...
