January 16, 201412 yr Hi Everyone, thinking of switching to dx10, I have read Paul's excellent guide but just wanted to know this. Do I need to install the 3.22 patch prior to purchasing Steve fixer or can I just purchase Steve fixer only, set my FSX to DX10 preview and install Steve fixer as a complete package and not worry about the 3.22 shader patch. In other words does this contain everything that I would require. Many thanks
January 16, 201412 yr Hi Mark, you won't need the 3.22 patch. Just the fixer. January 16, 201412 yr As Julian said above, just install DX10 Fixer and apply, the only "tweak" for me is "HIGMEMFIX" and NVidia Inspector settings. Everything else can be set from within Fixer. And if at any time you wish to revert to DX9 start Fixer and untick the DX10 box.
