I am looking for a semi-portable system to run fsx. I would like to be able to store the system when not in use at my kitchen table. I am confined to this room at night due to some responsibilities. It doesn't need to travel from outside the house just from room to room. Maybe there is a solution I have not even considered. Thanks for any help!

If you're only moving from room to room, I'd consider a smallish desktop.  The all-in-ones use essentially the same hardware as a laptop without the battery and pose the same kinds of compromises for FSX (no upgradable components, cooling limitations, slower components optimized for low power consumption rather than performance etc).  You could make it more easily moved/stored with a small wireless keyboard and mouse.  Lots of gamers have their machines set up to easily pack up and cart off to LAN parties.

 

You'll get much more bang for the buck in a desktop than a laptop or an AIO, and the process of packing it up/moving/storing can be easily managed with the right sort of case.
