Hello all, after installing X-Plane 10 and using it exclusively for a whole week, I just have this to say: HOLY CRAP! Even though it took a whole 28 hours for the install to finish, even though learning to install custom scenery is a whole new ball game, even though it takes a while to get the views just so, it simply is amazing.

 

But, it will not replace Prepar3D. It just adds to another type of simulator experience and now I get to enjoy both. I have lots to learn in X-Plane but, damn, it's loads of fun!

I use P3d v2 also, and I really like having both options on my system.  Xplane really does have some very good features.
