FSX Full Screen Problems...tearing my hair out!

Hi All,

 

I'll keep this as brief as possible.

 

Over the last few weeks whenever I've tried going into full screen (ALT-Enter) the taskbar is sill visible. I've tried dragging the borders to fill the screen but no joy. I thought it was only when playing on an online server but it happens on free flight as well.

 

Sometimes, if I reboot the PC it is ok. I've tried rolling back the Nvidia driver but still the problem persists. I use NI but can't see anything there that could cause this weird issue.

 

One thing I have noticed is that if in windowed mode and I drag another window, say Chrome, over it the FSX image becomes slightly pixelated but returns to normal once I've finished moving the window over.

 

Does anyone have any clue as to what's going on?
