I should have said Poppet. Thanks. I've already installed all of the apps named above. Maybe not correctly but all installed. What I'm trying to achieve is the best balance between graphics and FPS. I don't fly heavy. I prefer light. My favourite being the old Cessna 172 which I've imported from FSX into P3D. I have also install the shader realism mod.

Hi All, I simply don't have the patience any more to do this...so I'd prefer to bow down to somebody that has both the skill set and the passion to get me up and running to the best of my rigs ability. To keep things as short as possible. My rig specs to start with: Intel i7 920 @ 2.667ghz. Can overclock to 3.8ghz without issue (using H100i water cooler) Windows 10 64 bit P3D V3 Orbx FTX Global FTX NA FTX EU 3 x Samsung 24" monitors GTX 770 GPU 8GB RAM 250GB SSD REX Essentials+ HD I'd prefer if someone could use Teamviewer to remotely access my machine and configure the above and advise on other items I need to do. I may have screwed up things a little tonight. I've played around with Nvidia Inspector and ever since my FR's have dropped. Granted I was over Elstree in the UK which is highly populated. Guess it's time to drop the quality settings or call in someone who can have a play around for me using Teamviewer....any experts out there fancy having a play with my pc ?

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll have a play later when I get home from the office. I can't seem to work out how to use real world weather like we can in FSX or perhaps P3D doesn't have it?

Hi All, I've installed the latest version of P3D on my rig, then installed FTX Global, FTX UK, REX Essentials+ HD and the Realism Shader pack in that order. I tried a brief flight from KHQM last night and once in the air the graphics were very good but my issue is that even though I used REX to install textures the runway and surround areas didn't look much different. Have I installed something in the wrong order or done something I shouldn't? TIA Daz

Thanks very much. I'm sure I read somewhere, quite some time ago, that you could untick some scenery if you have FTX Global but not sure!

Hi All, I have FTX Global as well as some of their other areas installed. Can I untick some of the default scenery libraries to aid in faster load times, etc? TIA DK

Thanks Steve. I tried that but didn't see any messages whilst flying. I did see a green transparent wall close to the airport but still loads of black blocks where I think trees should be. If I turn on FTX Global it's ok. It seems only to be when flying with FTX North America. Any clues?

yes, they could be trees I guess. Even with DX10 off it still has the same black block problem. I've been flying around San Fran Int.

Hi All, I'm using Steve's retail DX10 fixer and FTX global / North America and I'm getting the occasional group of black blocks where buildings should be. Anyone got any ideas as to how to fix it? TIA DK

I have a modified rain40.fx file from what I remember and can't find the original which explains why Steve's DX10 fixer has the Rain section greyed out. Any idea where I can get the original file from and try that instead? it's ok. I found the original file.

Hi All, I have just installed a Corsair Hydro H100i water cooler and OC'd to 3.8Ghz on an i7 920. I'm running FSX DX10 (with Steve's DX10 fixer applied) and have locked FPS within FSX to 32. In all weather I get reasonable FPS in the 20's (clear skies much higher) but if I turn on some rain it drops down to the mid teens. Any ideas as to what I can do (apart from flying in clear skies!)? Hi All, Currently, I have a GTX470 connected to a TH2GO and 3 x 24" Samsung T240 monitors. I'm considering an upgrade to a 2GB GTX670 as this, as I understand it, supports up to 3 monitors natively. Does this mean I could do away with my TH2GO unit and connect all 3 monitors to the GTX670? TIA DK

Hi All, I have 3 Samsung T240 monitors connected to a TH2GO but I'm unable to access my PC's BIOS as on start up two of the three monitors flash very fast (strangely the center monitor remains blank). If I connect a single monitor directly to the PC everything is fine. Any ideas as to what I can do? Thanks DK
