Good day 

 

So i am trying to run opus  and while i am running fsx in window mod i tried the spy  button to se what is opus is doing and it keeps getting an error cant connect to port 4 

 

what is going on please and do i need to change the port number ?  if so how thank you 

Are you referring to a COM port. In which case have you inadvertently enabled the CPFlight device in the Configure dialog. If so just disable the option.

it worked  i removed the check mark  

 

but in the middle of the flight while updating opus caused  fatal error and fsx crashed and restated 

 

any info on this Please

Opus cannot directly cause a fatal error within FSX since it is an external program that only interfaces through SimConnect. Sounds like a simple FSX crash most likely due to resource problem, memory problem within FSX or something like that.

 

As far as Opus is concerned just follow the published Recommended Practices (see topic), set all weather defaults especially with respect to weather update period and distance, make sure you set the update distance to default as you don't want to be injecting larger weather theme data.

Thank you for the fast reply all day at work i read your post on my phone but couldn't reply until i got home ,,   according to what you are saying                then i can almost tell 100%  it's my weather tap coz   it is on custom
